We held a Plant Sale at The Scout Den, Horn Lane, Plymstock from 10 am -4 pm on 15th June 2019. This was the first indoor event of this nature in recent club history and members and the public embraced the idea.

We teamed up with Iceland on the Broadway and agreed to raise funds for their 2019 charity, Alzheimer’s Research UK . As you can see from the photographs below, it was a fabulous event and raised a huge amount of money for both the Society and the charity.

It has since been decided that we will endeavour to use some of the money to promote gardening in the community and for the future. There is a plan to donate money to local Primary schools in the New Year for their gardening projects and other ideas are in the pipeline.
